Chocolate By Design, Inc. has been manufacturing quality chocolate novelties
since 1979. It started as a wholesale manufacturer selling to a variety of
businesses including caterers, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, department stores,
florists, basket companies, party planners and gourmet food and confectionery
stores.
In 1992 the factory was relocated to its present location on Long Island, New
York. As a part of the move we opened a retail shop to serve the local
neighborhood. Our customers began asking for chocolate party favors and the
rest is history. We get calls from around the country from people who received our
favors from parties they attended, wanting to order for their own parties.
